The PRORIL STORMY series of abrasion resistant electric submersible slurry pumps are fitted as standard with an ACrS high chrome steel impeller, agitator and wear plate. The agitator forces solids loose, after which a mix of water and slurry can be pumped out.
This heavy duty submersible agitator pump with semi-open strainer creates a vertical underwater flow, it can run dry without problems and is well suited for pumping abrasive liquids such as slurry and sand.
